IPL 2023 Updates: The 16th session of the Indian Premier League is about to begin on 31 March 2023. Ten teams are selected for this event comprising Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings which have won the IPL title five and four times respectively. Mumbai Indians have won the title most often followed by Chennai Super Kings.
Other teams/franchises have also won the title except for three teams. These teams haven’t won the IPL trophy not even a single time despite being part of the Indian Premier League from the beginning.

IPL 2023 Updates: Kings XI Punjab has never been good in decision making that’s why despite being led by great players like Adam Gilchrist, Yuvraj Singh, and Virender Sehwag the team never managed to win the IPL trophy.
The major concern that owns the blame is that the management never actually worked well. Punjab has always shuffled its teams in every year’s auction not maintaining player unity and understanding between the players.
This time, Indian Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan will lead KXIP as their captain. The team has earlier managed to reach playoffs three times in 2008, 2010, and 2014. They even made it to the finals in 2014 but ended as runner-up. This time took a bid on Sam Curran and owned them for Rs 18.5 Crore. Sam was the most expensive player in IPL 2023 auction.

IPL 2023 Updates: Delhi Capitals have a dissimilar fate compared to KXIP as their performance has significantly improved with time. DC managed to qualify for playoffs three times consecutively. Delhi made it to the finals for the first time in 2020 but suffered a loss to Mumbai Indians.
However, the team will play without their leading player Rishabh Pant as he is still recovering from the accident he met on the 2023 new year’s eve. However, this time DC will run under David Warner’s captaincy and also has performing players like Prithvi Shaw, Mitchell Marsh, and Enrique Norge with the potential to change the game in Delhi’s favor.

IPL 2023 Updates: RCB is said to be the team cursed with stars. RCB has never won the IPL trophy and over that, they have consistently been the worst-performing teams in all the IPL sessions. The team has had players like Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, and Chris Gayle but despite such an advantage, they have never won the trophy.
RCB reached the IPL finals in 2009 when they suffered a loss to Deccan Chargers. The team’s performance is good for the last three seasons as they successfully made the playoffs. Let’s see if RCB can grab the title under in form Virat Kohli’s captaincy.
