The iPhone 15 series will have several months for release, rumors and information are starting to circulate about the upcoming series of Iphone. First rumors on the iPhone 15 Pro models’ is that the possibility to change the physical button with capacitive ones comes from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in October 2022.

One capacitive volume rocker, which would allow users to change volume levels by tapping the button, it’s possible for the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro, according to a CAD model recently released by 9to5Mac.

According to the 9to5Mac report, the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro models may just have a single volume button rather than two keys for adjusting the volume up and down. Depending on where they push the button on this new volume rocker, customers will be able to change the volume.

The reports suggest that the new “pressing type button” that uses capacitive technology and needs a forceful press to activate silent mode could take the place of the standard mute switch. This modification may mark an important change from the classic design and be similar to Apple’s ForceTouch technology used in MacBook trackpads.

Hardware changes in Iphone 15

The Dynamic Island feature will reportedly be available on all iPhone 15 models, including the base model, according to rumors.

In addition to the above mentioned hardware changes, there have been rumors that the iPhone 15 series may transition from the Lightning port to USB-C as the primary charging port.

One more rumored that Apple may use proprietary technologies to put access restrictions on some features to make them only available to customers who have certified cables and accessories.
