Donations were known to be a secret assignment. But Instagram thinks otherwise and wants you to use the power of the internet and technology to help spread the word about which you care about.
As per the latest technology news, App whisperer Jane Manchun Wong revealed in her recent tweet that Instagram is working on a ‘Donation’ sticker. The sticker also allows users to start fundraisers for their preferred non-profits.
Currently, the feature is under beta and it is confusing if it will make it to the large numbers or not. Until then, if you want to start a fundraiser, you’ll have to stick to the ongoing method of ‘link in bio’ to redirect users to donate.
