After the death of his father, Jaspreet runs an egg roll vendor in Tilak Nagar, Delhi. He has the responsibility of his 14 year old sister. And he also told that he wants to become a police officer when he grows up. Despite facing adversity at a young age, he is working hard to fulfill his dreams.
Initial Challenges and Responsibilities:
Due to brain TB disease, the shadow of his father Hardeep Singh first disappeared from his mind. Two days later, the mother left him and went to her maternal home in Punjab. Jaspreet told that before leaving the house, mother had said that I do not want to live with you guys. Jaspreet also has the responsibility of his 14 year old sister. So instead of accepting defeat, he started selling his father’s egg rolls. Jaspreet bravely took up the responsibility of running his father’s egg roll vendor in Tilak Nagar, Delhi. Jaspreet’s story of passion has now come into limelight on social media.

Jaspreet Singh said that she is not a mother who leaves her children
Jaspreet told that his father was suffering from brain TB due to which he was ill for the last nine months. He died on 14 April 2024. The mother went to her maternal home two days after her death. Before going to her parents’ home, mother had said that I do not want to live with you guys. Everyone tried hard to stop her but she did not stop.
At last the child said emotionally that she is not a mother who leaves her children. Jaspreet’s aunt Sumanpreet Kaur, who is paying attention to studies along with work, told that Jaspreet wants to become a police officer when he grows up. This is his dream. Therefore, along with work, we also want to fulfill his dream of education. That’s why Jaspreet is able to go to the street vendor at seven in the evening.
