Vacancy Details and Eligibility Criteria

The department is offering three positions in different circles around India. Candidates can apply for anyone as per their preference and qualifications.

For the Postman role, applications are invited on 59099 seats in the following states:

For Mailguard posts, around 1445 vacancies are available across the country. The highest number of vacancies is available in AP circle i.e. 108.

Assam, Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka, Telangana, Odisha, Kerala, and Madhya Pradesh has more than 50 vacant posts of mailguard.

Maharashtra has 147, Tamil Nadu- 128, Uttar Pradesh- 116, and West Bengal has 155 vacant positions. However, there is no position available in J&K, and NE circle.
