IND vs SA 4th T20 Highlights: The fourth T20 match between India and South Africa at the Ekana Cricket Stadium was called off on Wednesday due to dense fog. The toss was scheduled for 6:30 PM, but after repeated inspections, the umpires deemed the conditions unsuitable for play. This makes the next match of the series, scheduled for December 19 in Ahmedabad, a decider. On Wednesday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an "orange alert" for "very dense fog" in 13 districts of eastern and central Uttar Pradesh. A "yellow alert" for dense fog was also issued for 27 districts across the state, from the eastern to the western parts.

Lucknow was set to host its first T20 match in December, but the dense fog disappointed fans. Due to the thick fog, fans could barely see the stands on the other side of the stadium. The first indication of the match being called off came when the toss, initially scheduled for 6:30 PM IST, was delayed until 6:50 PM. However, the fog did not clear, leading to further inspections at 7:30 PM, 8:00 PM, 8:30 PM, and 9:00 PM. At 9:25 PM, the floodlights were visible from the batsman's crease, following which the match was officially called off at 9:30 PM local time.

When it became clear that the ball was not easily visible, another inspection was scheduled.
