BCCI Changes Timing for IND vs SA 2nd Test 2025 in Guwahati

In a unique decision, the BCCI has changed the session timings for the second Test match between India and South Africa. This change has been made for the second Test match to be held in Guwahati.

According to Reports, BCCI Secretary Saikia said that Guwahati is located in northeastern India, where the sun rises and sets early in the winter. Therefore, the match timings have been changed. The second India-South Africa Test match will now start 30 minutes earlier than usual, and the tea break will be before lunch, as is usually the case in day-night Test matches.

In fact, this two-match Test series between India and South Africa (India vs South Africa 2025 Test Timings) will begin on Friday at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. A gold-plated coin bearing the BCCI and Cricket South Africa emblems will be used for the toss.

Guwahati, hosting a Test match for the first time, will host the second Test between India and South Africa from November 22. BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia, who is from Guwahati, recently announced that the match there will start at 9:00 am, while the Kolkata Test will begin at 9:30 am.
