Indian team’s star batsman Shubhman Gill gave a big update about his injured finger on Monday. Shubhman Gill suffered an injury on the finger of his right hand on Sunday, after which he was immediately taken to the hospital. Gill told that he was scanned in the hospital and he did not come to fielding on Monday. Sarfaraz Khan fielded in place of Gill.

Shubman Gill said that there is nothing to worry about and he will recover completely in the next few days. Recall that Shubhman Gill suffered an injury on the finger of his right hand on the third day of the Visakhapatnam Test, after which he was immediately taken to the hospital.

Shubman Gill did not come to the field to field on Monday i.e. the fourth day of the Test. Sarfaraz Khan fielded the whole day in his place. Gill told that immediately after the injury he was taken to the hospital, where he was scanned.

The second test match was great for Shubman Gill. The right-handed batsman regained his lost form and scored the third century of his Test career. In the second innings, he scored 104 runs in 147 balls with the help of 11 fours and two sixes. On the basis of Gill’s innings, the Indian team defeated England by a huge margin of 106 runs in the second test. With this the Indian team leveled the series 1-1.

Shubman Gill said during the post match presentation, “I am definitely very happy, but to be honest, I left a lot behind.” At first I didn’t realize that the pad had an inside edge. Iyer said that if it is the umpire’s call then I will take it. I had expected that only 5-6 overs should have been played till tea time. It is a very good wicket to bat on.
