BCCI has given this information on its X (formerly Twitter) that Team India's fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been released for the fourth Test to be held in Ranchi. BCCI has informed that Bumrah has been given rest to manage the workload.

Apart from him, KL Rahul was dropped for the fourth test. KL Rahul will not be able to play Ranchi Test due to injury. Before the third Test, Devdutt Padikkal was added to the team in place of KL Rahul.

In such a situation, Padikkal will remain associated with the team for the fourth Test and he may also get a chance to debut in the Ranchi Test. At the same time, Mukesh Kumar was not a part of the team for the Rajkot Test. He has been included in India's squad for the fourth Test.
