IND vs BAN: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on June 20 informed that India's senior men's Test team is all set to kick off its home season with a two-match Test series against Bangladesh. With India's home season schedule being finalised, the Rohit Sharma-led side is all set for the much-awaited Test series against Bangladesh and New Zealand.

India will play 5 Tests, 6 ODIs and 5 T20Is in their home season in 2024-25, sandwiched between tours of Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka and the big Test series in Australia.

IND vs BAN: Tests and T20Is

India will play a two-match Test series with Bangladesh from September 19 to September 27, followed by a three-match T20I series against the same opponent from October 6 to October 12. The first Test against Bangladesh will be played in Chennai, while Kanpur will host the second Test from September 27. After this, both the teams will play three T20Is in Dharamsala, Delhi and Hyderabad.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will play Test matches

India captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli can be a part of the India vs Australia match, which will be selected by the BCCI's senior selection committee. Keeping in mind the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh, the senior selection committee wants all the players to be available for the Duleep Trophy, which will be played in a new format this season starting September 5.
