ICAI CA 2026 Foundation Admit Card Released, Check Exam Details Now

An important announcement has been made for the students who want to become Chartered Accountants. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has now made the ICAI CA 2026 January session Foundation exam admission Card available for download on eservices.icai.org. This is a highly awaited update and gives you the opportunity to download your hall ticket now!

As per the ICAI's official notification, All students who wish to sit for the ICAI CA 2026 Foundation Exam need to log in to the Student Services Portal (SSP) in order to access their admit card. The ICAI has made it very clear that no candidate will be allowed into the exam centre unless they have their admit card printed out. Candidates must also have an original and valid photo ID, as no other forms of identification will be accepted.

Candidates should be aware that there is not much time left before the exam, and ICAI has urged all candidates to pay close attention to the instructions regarding reporting time for the exam, the dress code, and all other rules associated with the examination hall. Any negligence or disregard of the rules may cause a bar on attendance at the examination.

ICAI CA 2026: Download Admit Card

The ICAI CA Foundation 2026 admit card can be downloaded through a completely online process. The steps should follow as;

• Candidates must first visit the official website eservices.icai.org.
• Log in to the website using your SSP login credentials (user ID and password).
• After logging in, the admit card will appear on the screen.
• Download the admit card and take a printout.
• ICAI advises students not to wait until the last day to avoid any technical issues.

The ICAI CA Foundation 2026 admit card contains several important details about the candidate which is mentioned below;

ICAI CA 2026: Exam Dates and Timings

The ICAI has officially announced the exam dates for the CA January 2026 and May 2026 sessions. The exams for all three levels – Foundation, Intermediate, and Final – will be conducted according to the scheduled dates. The complete details are provided below in a simple and clear format:

CA January 2026 Exam Dates (Confirmed)

The exams consist  of three papers like CA Final, CA Intermediate, CA Foundation and these are further consisting of 2 groups respectively.

CA Final 

• Group 1: January 5, 7, and 9, 2026
• Group 2: January 11, 13, and 16, 2026

CA Intermediate

• Group 1: January 6, 8, and 10, 2026
• Group 2: January 12, 15, and 17, 2026

CA Foundation

• January 18, 20, 22, and 24, 2026

CA May 2026 Exam Dates (Confirmed)

The exams consist  of three papers like CA Final, CA Intermediate, CA Foundation and these are further consisting of 2 groups respectively.

CA Final

• Group 1: May 2, 4, and 6, 2026
• Group 2: May 8, 10, and 12, 2026

CA Intermediate

• Group 1: May 3, 5, and 7, 2026
• Group 2: May 9, 11, and 13, 2026

CA Foundation

• May 14, 16, 18, and 20, 2026

Exam Timings & Duration (General Guidelines)

The duration and timings of exam are mentioned below:

Intermediate and Final Exams

• Duration: 3 hours
• Time: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Foundation Exams

• Duration for Paper 3 and Paper 4: 2 hours
• Time: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Advance Reading Time

• 15 minutes for all papers (1:45 PM to 2:00 PM)
• No advance reading time will be provided for Foundation Paper 3 and 4.

This schedule will help students plan their preparation effectively. Candidates are advised to double-check the timings and instructions given on their admit cards before the exam.

New in ICAI CA 2026

ICAI has introduced several changes to its CA Course, and in doing so, it also had to incorporate a lot of new topics, including many that weren't previously assessed in previous CA Students, particularly Final-level students. The biggest change is that ICAI CA's Exam Structure will now include an open book exam in the form of Integrated Business Solutions (IBS). 

The IBS will be available as a Hardcopy format. This allows candidates to have their study and reference material with them during the exam. By implementing open book exams, ICAI is putting greater emphasis on practical thinking and analysis rather than rote learning.

Admit cards were released by ICAI for CA Foundation Exam December 2026. All CA Examination candidates can finish their preparation now. When the candidatehas downloaded the CA Foundation Exam Jan 2026, they should thoroughly read through all of the instructions, and think through everything in advance so they do not find themselves rushing prior to the Exam Day.
