Under the Huawei Mate 80 series, the company may launch four models: Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro Max, and Mate 80 RS Master Edition. Media reports claim that the Pro Max smartphone may also be launched under the name Pro+. Furthermore, according to reports, the Mate 80 series smartphones may feature a built-in active cooling fan. Huawei has been testing this cooling fan for some time.

In addition, Huawei's upcoming phones may also feature an upgraded 3D face recognition feature. This is reportedly the first time the company will offer premium features on its standard variant smartphones. The phones in this series will feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a red-maple colored camera module design.
