HMD 101 and HMD 100 Launch: 5 Key Features at an Amazing Price

HMD has launched two new feature smartphones in India, the HMD 101 and HMD 100. They are priced starting at ₹949. The HMD 101 packs a 1,000mAh battery with support for 2.75W wired charging. HMD 101 and HMD 100 Price in India

The HMD 101 and HMD 100 are priced starting at ₹949 in India for the single RAM and storage variant. However, the HMD 101 is listed on the HMD India store for ₹1,049, while its maximum retail price (MRP) is ₹1,199 (for the 4MB RAM + 4MB storage variant). The HMD 100 has an MRP of ₹1,099 (for the 8MB RAM + 4MB storage variant).

Both phones will be available starting today on the HMD India online store, major e-commerce platforms, and leading offline retail stores. The HMD 101 can be purchased in blue, grey, and teal colors, while the HMD 100 will be available in Grey, Teal, and Red.

Specifications and Features of HMD 101 and HMD 100

Both the HMD 101 and HMD 100 run the company's S30+ OS. Both feature phones feature a 1.77-inch display with a 160x128 pixel resolution and a 4:5 aspect ratio.

The new HMD handsets are powered by the Unisoc 6533G chipset, with up to 4MB of internal storage.

However, only the HMD 101 supports storage expansion up to 32GB via a microSD card. The HMD 101 has 4MB of RAM, while the HMD 100 has 8MB of RAM.

HMD's new phones also feature removable batteries.

The HMD 101 has a 1,000mAh battery, which provides up to 7 hours of talk time, while the HMD 100 has an 800mAh battery, which provides up to 6 hours of talk time. Both handsets support 2.75W wired charging.

For connectivity, the HMD 101 and HMD 100 have a 3.5mm headphone jack, a micro-USB port, and a built-in FM radio. The HMD 101 also has a built-in MP3 player and auto call recording feature.

Additionally, it features Phone Talker, dual LED flash units, input for 10 Indian languages, and rendering support for 23 Indian languages, which is also shared with the HMD 100 model. Both phones measure 114.3x50x14.3mm, and weigh around 73 grams.
