Hero Vida VX2 Go 3.4 kWh Variant Launched in India

The number of variants of the Vida VX2 Go has been increased by Hero MotoCorp’s electric two-wheeler manufacturing arm. A 3.4 kWh battery pack, priced at Rs 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom), will now be offered with the EV. Before the introduction of this variant, only a 2.2 kWh battery pack had been provided with the model, and the larger 3.4 kWh pack had been made available only with the VX2 Plus.

Vida VX2 Go Features:

Powertrain: The electric motor produces about 6KW of peak power and 26 Nm torque.

Practicality and Design: A flat floorboard with a long seat, designed for a rider's use or family use in mind.

Storage capacity: Vida VX2 has a large 27.2 litres under-seat  storage capacity

Vida VX2 Go Price:

The new variant’s pricing falls between the VX2 Go 2.2 kWh, priced from Rs 85,000, and the VX2 Plus, priced from Rs 1.10 lakh. Customers are also offered the option of the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, under which the scooter’s initial cost is reduced to Rs 60,000, and a variable monthly fee for the battery is charged depending on usage.

Vida VX2 Go Battery and Upgrade

The Vida VX2 Go variant, fitted with a 3.4 kWh battery, comes with the same features and components as the smaller version, but its main upgrade is an increased range. It includes a dual removable battery system with a total capacity of 3.4 kWh, whereas the 2.2 kWh variant only has space for a single battery.

With the larger battery configuration, the model is claimed to achieve a real-world range of 100 km on a single charge, which represents a significant improvement over the 64 km range of the smaller battery version. Power is still supplied by a 6 kW electric motor, generating 26 Nm of torque, with two riding modes — Eco and Ride — available. The same top speed of 70 km/h is maintained.
