Hema Malini has said that great roles are ‘written especially’ for Amitabh Bachchan but not for ‘actresses’. She added that she is ‘capable of performing well’.
Hema Malini, an actor, disagrees that OTT platforms have provided female actors with more roles and opportunities. Hema stated in a recent interview that Amitabh Bachchan’s roles are “written specifically for him.” She added, “Keeping me in mind, it would be nice” if a role was written.

In a meeting in Early afternoon, Hema said, “Where could the potential open doors today be? Author-backed roles are still rare for actresses today; They are only available to male actors. Even now, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan has such great roles that were written just for him. However, actresses have not yet been cast in such unique roles. It would be wonderful if someone could write a [tailored] role with my interests in mind. I believe I can perform well as well.
