Hathras Stampede Incident : Atleast 116 Died at Satsang In UP's Hathras, CM Yogi Announces Help

No less than 116 individuals were killed and a lot more harmed in a charge that happened Tuesday night during a strict social event in the Hathras locale of Uttar Pradesh. Shalabh Mathur, the Inspector General (Aligarh), confirmed that 116 people have died thus far. Because the attendance at the Satsang was greater than what was allowed, an FIR will be filed against the organizers. He stated, "A high-level investigation has been ordered."

The Manav Mangal Milan Sadbhavna Samagam Committee organized the Satsang in honor of Narayan Sakar Hari, also known as Bhole Baba or Sakar Vishwa Hari.

Recordings from the spot showed individuals bringing the people in question, dead or oblivious, in ambulances, trucks and vehicles to Sikandara Rao Emergency room. A lot of the injured were seen lying near the hospital's entrance, surrounded by worried relatives, in heartbreaking scenes.

CM Yogi Expresses Condolences To all Dead Ones

"The incident is extremely sad and heart-wrenching... Local organisers had organized a program of 'Bhole Baba,'" Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in a statement. After the program, when the minister of the Satsang was descending from the stage, unexpectedly a horde of lovers began going towards him to contact him. When the 'sevadars' halted them, this mishap occurred there."

CM Gave Instructions To Provide 2Lakh Financial Help

The Chief Ministeradditionally gave directions to give monetary help of Rs 2 lakh each to the groups of the departed and Rs 50 thousand to the harmed. He probably will come to Hathras on Wednesday.
