Personalities That Made Headlines
Presidential elections of US was not only an important event for the United States but also for the whole world especially for India as the two countries share a strong bond.
But, Donald Trumph was not the most searched personality. Instead Joe Biden who was standing against Trumph in the election became the top trending personality. Indians also searched for the Arnab Goswami who gained massive highlight after the death of SSR.
Trending Bollywood Celebrities
Guess who’s the top trending celeb from Bollywood?
It’s ” Chitiyan Kaliyan” singer Kanika Kapoor who has beaten Big B and became the most searched personality on Google after Joe Biden and Arnab. Amitabh Bachchan bagged the 5th position.
Other trending personalities are also related to SSR case among which Rhea Chakraborty top the searches of Bollywood celebs on Google.
Ankita Lokhande is on the 9th position among the top 10 trending personalities on Google. Surprisingly, Kangana Ranaut who blamed Nepotism behind the SSR’s death is last in the list.
International personalities like Rashid Khan, Kim Jong-Un, and Kamla Harris were also in the list.

What and How are the most searched terms on Google like what is coronavirus, how to increase immunity, were some of the queries of user. But, what’s interesting query that literally entertained and confused at the same time was this:
” What is binod” back in August the internet flooded with this query that garnered attention of YouTube users first during the video “Why Indian Comments Section is Garbage.” The video was about the bizzare comments on YouTube videos.

On the global level, coronavirus has topped the list of most searched query of this year. But, in India millions of people searched for the ” Indian Premier League” on Google which was about to begin in March.
Due to pandemic the sports industry came to halt and fans were disappointed as they could not enjoy the 13th season of IPL. Everybody was waiting eagerly for the commence of IPL which started in mid-September this year.

Top Trending Movies/Web Series On Google
Well, theatres across the country were closed during the lockdown and they are still closed but film industry still paves the way for entertainment. OTT platforms were the big support of both viewers and TV and film industry.
Here’s the Bollywood movie that became the biggest trend ever:
Dil Bechara
The most searched movie on Google is none other than the late actor Sushant’s last film, Dil Bechara. Fans were waiting to see the actor last time on big screen but lockdown made it impossible.
As a tribute to SSR, Disney+Hotstar released the film on digital platform which also became the highest box office earnings of 2020 with total collection of Rs 2000 crore.
Second is Soorarai Pottru which is a complete action-drama Tamil movie. Others in the top fives are Shakuntala Devi, Tanhaji, and Gunjan Saxena. Extraction is the only movie from Hollywood in which Indian users showed interest.
