Google Pixel 9a is the next smartphone from the tech giant. Like the previous model, the Pixel 9a will be an affordable alternative to the flagship Pixel 9 series. Google usually launches the Pixel ‘a’ series during the I/O conference in May, but leaks suggest it could be released as early as next year. The Pixel 9a is said to be launched in March 2025.

- The device will be slightly taller and wider with dimensions of 154 x 73 mm. However, it also gets thinner, as it is likely to measure 8.5 mm compared to the 8.9 mm frame on the Pixel 8a.
- The upcoming device has a noticeable but uniform side bezel and flat edges.
- However, the rest of the phone looks similar to other Pixel 9 phones.
- Apart from this, according to a report by GSMArena, the Pixel 9a is likely to come in four new color options including Porcelain, Obsidian, Peony and Iris.

- This is not entirely surprising as Google already released the Pixel 9 series earlier this year.
- It was launched in August instead of the usual October launch.
- Google may change its launch cycle and Android 16 could also reportedly arrive in early 2025.
In India, the Google Pixel 9 price starts at Rs 79,999 for the base 12GB+256GB variant. The Pixel 9 Pro, with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, comes with a price tag of Rs 1,09,999, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL, with the same memory and storage configuration, is available for Rs 1,24,999.
