Other features of Gboard include multilingual typing, voice typing, emoji and sticker search, and the ability to create custom keyboard themes. It also supports handwriting input and has a built-in clipboard manager for copying and pasting text.

But this time, Android Police found out that the app is being redesigned, and beta testers so far got to witness the new changes.
The main advancement graphically is a revamped toolbar, permitting you to customise it your own way with over four options, and the voice search button can finally be eliminated.

The recent circle with an arrow swiftly conceals or shows four customizable options. The button will transform to add four squares along with the three-dot menu, which is going far, leaving room for one more shortcut.

The micro-menu of options is also redesigned, freeing room for more personalizations to come in future. Rather than having six circles taking up all the space, we will see rectangles.
Google also wants to have a new Privacy menu inside its Gboard settings. At majority of times, it is featured from the Advanced menu, but now it is under the tab.
