Gonda Train Accident: A train accident took place in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. Coaches of Dibrugarh Express going from Chandigarh to Dibrugarh have derailed. According to initial information, 10 to 12 coaches have derailed. The condition of the AC coach of Dibrugarh Express has become very bad. Dibrugarh Express has derailed near Jhilahi railway station near Gonda.

As soon as the train derailed, there was a stir among the passengers. People started screaming in panic. As soon as the train stopped, the passengers came out. So far four people have died in this accident. The Health Minister has confirmed this. At the same time, information has come to light that a large number of passengers have been injured in the accident. The Railway Department has started investigating the causes of the incident.

On Thursday afternoon, when the train reached near Jhilahi station between Gonda and Basti, a sudden loud noise disturbed the passengers. Suddenly the train started shaking. After this the train started derailing.

As soon as the train derailed, an atmosphere of fear prevailed among the passengers. The railway department was informed about the accident near Jhilahi station. After derailing, the train overturned on the side. During this, the AC bogie was completely damaged. The incident was immediately reported to the railway administration. After this, relief and rescue work has been started.

CM Yogi expressed grief

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the Gonda train accident. Along with this, he has instructed the officials of the district administration to run relief and rescue work on a war footing.

Gonda Train Accident: Panic among passengers

Panic spread among the passengers after seeing the horrific accident. People present in the train started running. The security personnel and other people present in the train were trying to convince some other people. Meanwhile, a group of passengers were seen coming out with their luggage. After the arrival of railway officials, the passengers were assured of alternative arrangements for further journey.
