Know The Full Story of Gangubai Kathiawadi

The story comes from the state of Gujarat’s Kathiawadi area where Ganga is born. She belongs to a good family and her father is a barrister but love take her to a different route. She fell in love with a boy Ramnik who used to work with Ganga’s father.

Ramnik promised to Ganga in pursuing her dream of becoming a heroine in Bollywood and convince her to ran away with him. But that was a trap and Ramnik sells her in thousand to the streets of Kamathipura which is full of sex workers and lustful men.

Apart from these two actors, others were also good and did enough to support and uplift the main character. The only disappointing part is that filmmakers fail to show enough struggle of Gangu when she was new to this brothel life.

That could have connected and brought more emotion in the audience, rest is absolutely impressive. The movie is worth watching so go and get your tickets now. The film is released in cinemas on 25^th February 2022.
