November is bringing lots of holidays for both working professionals and students. Diwali being the major festival will alone bring 2-3 days off. Some regional festivals will also keep banks closed in a few states like Bihar, Chattisgarh, and Jharkhand. Thus, customers must be prepared in advance. 6th November- Some states like UP, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Sikkim celebrate Bhai Dooj also known as Bhai Beej. The festival is however celebrated in many more states but on the next day of Diwali, these states have official bank holidays.
10th November- One of the important festivals of Bihar- Chhath Puja- will be held on the 10th day of the month which brings two days off to those living in the state. It is also celebrated in Chattisgarh and Jharkhand but only day off is provided in these states.
