ED Summoned Elvish Yadav In Snake Venom Rave Party Case, To Appear In Court Before July 23

In connection with the snake venom rave party in Noida, the Enforcement Directorate summoned YouTuber Elvish Yadav in Lucknow in a money laundering case. Based on the FIR filed by Noida police regarding the rave incident, the ED filed a case against Yadav under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in May.

According to the summons, the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner has been summoned to appear before the ED on July 23. However, Yadav requested that the appearance be postponed, citing scheduled international travel and professional obligations as the reasons.

In the snake venom case, the Noida police filed an FIR and chargesheet against Elvish Yadav and five others earlier this year. The People for Animals (PFA) organization filed a complaint against Yadav and others in November of last year for allegedly providing snake venom for recreational use at a party.

FIR Registered On YouTube with Seven People

On March 17, the YouTuber and five others were taken into custody by the police. They were all charged with violating the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120A (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code. Elvish Yadavwas allowed bail by Gautam Buddha Nagar Region Court five days after his capture.

The Noida police later captured two additional suspects, Ishwar and Vinay. Both suspects, who are said to have connections to Elvish Yadav, were from Haryana.

Elvish Yadav Linked to Cobra and Krait Venom

The YouTuber and seven other individuals were named in a chargesheet that was filed by the Noida police on April 6 in connection with allegations that ranged from snake smuggling to organizing rave parties. According to the 1200-page chargesheet, Elvish was in touch with snake charmers and that the location also yielded a poisonous snake and 20 milliliters of Krait species venom.

Last year, PFA filed the FIR at the Noida Sector 49 police station. On the instructions of Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh, the case was transferred from Noida's Sector 49 police station to Sector 20 police station.
