Eicher Pro X Diesel Range Launch in India: New Small Commercial Vehicle

The Eicher Pro X Diesel range was launched by Eicher Trucks and Buses on Monday 10-nov-2025, expanding the small commercial vehicle portfolio with a diesel-powered option and EV option for last-mile delivery. The launch followed the debut of the Eicher Pro X EV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo earlier this year, 2025.

Eicher aimed

The Eicher Pro X Diesel is aimed at users and regions that require diesel solutions for e-commerce, FMCG, fruit and vegetable, cold chain, courier, parcel, and other local distribution tasks. The range features a newly developed E449 diesel engine, which the company claims provides fuel efficiency and performance for city and near-city, town operations.

Design 

Eicher stated that the Pro X Diesel was co-developed with customers to meet the needs of small businesses, fleet operators, and first-time buyers. The vehicles are manufactured at Eicher’s Industry 4.0-enabled Bhopal plant and are assembled on an all-female production line. The Pro X Diesel can be reserved by customers via Eicher’s dealership network or through the company’s official website.

Exterior & Design Highlights

•    The Eicher Pro X Design range(3-3.5 ton SCV) has been built specifically for last-mile logistics
•    Features include like a crash-test certified metallic cabin(CTCMC).
•    The vehicle is fitted with a 10-foot 8-inch cargo deck and has a 30,000-kilometre service interval.

Cabin Comfort Features, Interior & Load capacity

•    Eicher cabins offer D+2 seating with flat and connected seats
•    The cabin was co-developed with customers, comfort, drivability, and ease of ownership are core
•    Visibility & Safety features: Driver State Monitoring System(DSMS),Daytime Running Lamps(DRL)
•    Connectivity is provided via the My Eicher App, which delivers predictive diagnostics, a remote immobiliser, and real-time monitoring through a 24x7 Uptime Centre.

According To Eicher, MD & CEO 

Vinod Aggarwal, MD and CEO of VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd., stated that the company’s strategy to support evolving logistics needs is extended by the Pro X Diesel. He added that the Eicher Pro X range — now available in both diesel and electric variants — reflects the company’s commitment to serving customers as logistics are transformed in India’s Amrit Kaal. S. S. Gill, Chief Commercial Officer at VE Commercial Vehicles segment, stated that the diesel range was designed for the large SCV segment, and he emphasised the comfort, safety, with digital support systems included in the platform.
