Delhi To Introduce Odd-Even Scheme From Nov 13-20 To Tackle 'Severe' Air Pollution

Delhi's environment minister Gopal Rai on Monday reported that the Odd-Even vehicle proportioning framework would be once again introduced for a one-week time span from November 13 to November 20.

The Odd-Even framework, in light of tag digits, will be executed in Delhi for seven days beginning November 13 to address rising contamination levels.

Rai's decision comes right after mounting contamination levels and wellbeing concerns influencing the city's inhabitants. "Considering air contamination, the Odd-Even vehicleframework will be material for multi-week from thirteenth to twentieth November," Rai told a public interview here.

Under the Odd-Even plan, vehicles with tag numbers finishing in an even digit (0, 2, 4, 6, 8) are permitted to work on even dates, while those completing in odd digits (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) can employ on odd dates.

The public authority has additionally guided schools to suspend actual classes, except classes 10 and 12, until November 10, the pastor said.
