After Katrina Kaif gave a shout out to her upcoming movie Pathaan on her Instagram Stories, Deepika Padukone responded by sharing the post and wrote, "Thanks, Kat!" in the caption. Katrina had posted a picture of her character Zoya from the Tiger film series along with the caption, "My friend Pathaan is on a dangerous mission."

Katrina Kaif stated that the mission was of national importance and should not be revealed, urging everyone involved to abide by this.

She included the hashtag #Pathaan and tagged Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham.

Deepika then reposted the post on her Instagram Stories, adding a gif of a kissing teddy bear.

Ali Abbas Zafar directed the second instalment, Tiger Zinda Hai, in 2017, and the third movie in the series, Tiger 3, will be released on Diwali this year.
