Covid-19 Fund: Virat Kohli And AB De Villiers To Auction Their IPL Kits

The latest news from the world of cricket has come to support the fight against covid-19. The former cricketer of South Africa, AB de Villers, and Virat Kholi come together to contribute to this fight. They are putting their IPL kits from 2016 on auction to raise funds.

This fund will be used to support the fight against covid-19. The kits being auctioned are from the Green Day match against Gujarat Lions. The players revealed about the auction in a live session of Instagram.

Furthermore, both the cricketers shared memory as well while revealing about it. South African batsmen told Kohli that, ” we both scored centuries and it was a good partnership.”

The match was enjoyable and De Villers got 120 odd whereas Kohli got a hundred. Moreover, it was a Green game so both the players played to create awareness about the environment.

People will bid on the kits and all the funds will go to the covid-19 fund. The funds will be used to provide food to people.

Covid-19 is taking the lives of 191, 000 people globally, and more than 2.7 million people are infected. This world pandemic has caused a tremendous amount of disturbance globally. People are suffering physically, mentally, and economically. Moreover, they have no food and other essentials. Such kind of support will be of great help for them.
