Coronavirus Infected AIIMS Doctor's Wife Delivers A Healthy Baby Boy

New Delhi: The wife of AIIMS doctor, who tested positive for coronavirus, gives birth to a healthy baby boy at AIIMS on Friday night. Both husband and wife were tested positive, but there is no positive result found in their baby boy.

The resident doctor of the physiology department at AIIMS was tested positive for the Coronavirus. The wife was also found positive for coronavirus after a few hours of her husband's diagnostic test.

"As soon as we got to know that the pregnant wife of a resident doctor was Covid-19 positive, we immediately shifted her to the isolation ward. A arranged a temporary operation theater for this delivery as per guidelines of clinical management of Covid-19."

So, this news is a big relief for pregnant women who were in a panic about their deliveries and unborn babies.
