Commonwealth Games 2022: Athletes Who May Win GOLD on Day 5

Day 5 in the Commonwealth games 2022 is going to be historic for the Indian team. Indian Women’s lawn bowls fours format team already made history by reaching for the first time ever in CWGs finals. The men’s Table Tennis team is also set to win the medal in CWGs 2022.

India in its day 4th Commonwealth Games won three medals. Sushila Likmabam won silver in women’s 48kg Judo, Vijay Kumar bronze in Judo, and Harjinder Kaur won bronze in women’s 71kg weightlifting.

Common Wealth Games 2022: India’s Schedule for Day 5

Weightlifting -

Today we are going to see Women’s 76kg, Men’s 96kg, and Women’s 87kg weightlifting match.

India’s eyes are set on three finals of different categories-

• Punam Yadav in women’s 76kg category
• Vikas Thakur in Men’s 96kg category
• Usha Bannur Natesh Kumara in women’s 87kg

Table Tennis

Indian Men’s squad is ready to take the medal at home after reaching the finals.

Today Indian Men’s table tennis team will play the finals against Singapore.

Badminton-

Badminton mixed team finals will be held today between India and Malaysia.

Indian badminton team is in good form and because of their previous performances, there is a chance that they will win gold.

PV Sindhu, Kidambi Srikanth, Lakshya Sen, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, and Chirag Shetty are the players in the Indian mixed team.

Lawn Bowls –

Indian women’s four format team made history and amazed everyone after reaching to the finals for the first time in CWGs history.

The Indian team defeated the top-seeded team New Zealand in the semi-finals to everyone’s amazement.

Today, they are playing the finals against South Africa. Currently, the match is going live and the Indian team is leading the South African team by 3-2 points
