British Man Dies Of 22 Shots In 90 Minutes; Case Of Alcohol Poisoning

A British man died of alcohol poisoning after being served 22 shots in 90 minutes in the Polish strip club, as reported by the Metro.

The 36-year-old British man who was recognized as Mark C was so far drunk when he came with a friend to the Wild Night Club in Krakow. The British man was in Poland and visited the club with his friend as it had free entry.

As per the investigators, the British man had attempted to ignore getting more stupefied by trying to ignore drinks. Although, members of the staff were convinced to have more shots. 

He was given about 22 strong shots before he fainted and then died. After he died, staff at the club stole around 2,200 Polish zlotych (Rs 42,816) in cash. 

The executives of Poland revealed that he got a blood alcohol content of about 0.4% when he collapsed and later died. It is noteworthy that, alcohol poisoning can cause a blood alcohol level of 0.3% or more.

The Police of Poland newly charged 58 people with being part of the systematized crime group with respect to the tourist’s death. 

They also filed more than 700 criminal charges against the group as they organized a raid on a group of nightclubs. 

They said, “One of the leads questioned by the investigators in the case worries the sufferer who was taken to a state of drunkenness, resulting in loss of consciousness, and ultimately death as a consequence of acute alcohol poisoning. 

The man was not given medical support at the time of the incident. Temporary arrests were made against those who were allegedly culprits of this act.

The Polish Central Police Investigation Bureau (CBSP) revealed that the clubs conducted a racket in which they would have customers drunk before robbing their money. 

CBSP detailed that the group has the benefit of the “mental and physical situation of the victims” and “made payment transactions by the use of payment cards or other financial instruments for goods and services reportedly provided in the club.”

The investigation, which concentrates on Warsaw and Krakow is still going on. As per the NHS, alcohol poisoning can occur if you drink alcohol swifter as compared to your body can process it.
