Delhi Police Arrested Deep Sidhu From Zirakpur, Punjab

The prime accused of violence at Red Fort, Deep Sidhu, has been arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police. After the R-day violence, an FIR was lodged against the actor-turned activist for inflaming farmers during the protest to remove the national flag and hoist the religious flag.

According to reports, along with Deep Sidhu, names of 7 more suspects including gangster Lakka Sadana were also mentioned in the FIR. Delhi Police had identified all the suspects during the protest from video clips and photographs and have been searching them however Deep’s location was untraceable.

According to the latest videos, he was in California but those videos’ were uploaded by one of his Californian friend to mislead the police.

But the Special Cell officials succeeded in tracing the original location of Deep. He was arrested from the Zirakpur, Punjab. There was also Rs 1 lakh cash reward on Deep Sidhu.

Delhi Police has also announced a cash reward wroth Rs 50,000 on Jajbir Singh, Sukhdev, Buta Singh, and Igbal Singh who were involved in the 26th January violence. Apart from the conspirators, police has also identified the vehicles involved in the massive violence.

Centre had allowed protestors to conduct a tractor parade on Republic Day which soon turned into a massive collision between farmers and police. Several police officers were injured while stopping the aggressive protestors. Some of them had hoisted a religious flag disrespecting the country’s national flag.
