Relating to Wayve’s AV, Gates describes that it is similar to a human and it uses deep learning technology and uses its accumulative driving experiences to reply in real-time, dissimilar to the majority of self-driving cars which can only function on roads pre-uploaded into their system.

It is noteworthy that, the six-year-old startup works in partnership with Gates’ Microsoft on its AI-based AV technology.

“It was somehow unreal to be in the car as it darted all the traffic,” he wrote, including that the safety driver took more than multiple times.

The Video Of The Ride

Bill Gates has also posted a video of that particular ride on YouTube, Gates highlighted that the practicalities of an entire shift to AVs consist of factors such as car insurance, vehicle laws, and roads which may have to be worked once again.
