BGMI 3.8 Update: Steampunk Mode, New Weapons & Indian Events Revealed

BGMI 3.8 update is live with Steampunk mode, Titan battles, Indian brand collabs, new weapons, and anniversary crates. Play from May 15 to July 14!

BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India), the favorite battleground game of crores of gamers in India, has now become even more fun. Game maker Krafton India has released the new 3.8 update of BGMI, which has been specially designed keeping in mind the Indian players. This new update will not only have new features, but also new collaborations with special content and brands for India. Krafton says that their aim is to make BGMI India's most liked and community-connected game.

What's new in BGMI 3.8 update?

Steampunk Frontier Mode: This time a completely new and exciting mode has come in the game named Steampunk Frontier. This mode is set in a futuristic steampunk city Aetherholm, where players will feel a tremendous combo of technology and action. This mode will be available for a limited time from May 15 to July 14. It will have:

Titan Battle - Fight big Titans in the Ruined Castle and get great loot.
Slide Rails - To move fast and leave enemies behind.
Hot Air Balloon - Opportunity to attack enemies from the air.
Cyclone Coaster - To secretly reach behind the enemy or run fast.
Secret Treasure Room - Where you will find high-level weapons and loot.
ODM Gear and Giant Form - Powers inspired by the Attack on Titan anime.

Anniversary celebrations are also in full swing

An Anniversary Edition Crate has also been launched on the anniversary of BGMI, in which players will get upgraded versions of weapons like UZI, GROZA, UMP45 and M16A4, new backpacks, skins and lobby themes. Gameplay improvements and new weapons

Fila UAZ vehicle - Now stronger and more reliable than before.
Driver Shooting Feature - Facility to fire with one hand even while driving.
JS9 SMG- New sub-machine gun with light and low recoil.
Solo Arena Mode- Now players can also play 1v1 battles (available for above level 10).

Exclusive content for India BGMI is now also connecting with brands of India. This time:

Sting Energy Drink has become the official power-up of BGMI. Soon BGMI themed bottles of Sting will also be seen in the market.
Discovery Island Event (May 17 to July 1): In this, players can earn Exploration Points by playing Classic Mode and this can increase the prize pool of BMPS 2025 to ₹ 4 crores.
