The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella is the company's first fully electric car and is considered a significant model for the brand. Its design is striking. Slender headlamps, stylish DRLs, and vertical air intakes give it a powerful appearance. Its 185mm ground clearance is considered good for Indian roads. The 18-inch aero wheels, sloping roofline, and connected taillights make it modern and premium. It's unique, unlike any other Toyota car and is built on a completely different platform. In this review, we'll discuss what we liked and what could have been better about the Urban Cruiser Ebella.

The Ebella's cabin boasts one of Toyota's best interior quality yet. The floating center console and futuristic design make it unique. It offers several advanced features, including seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, ADAS, a sunroof, a powered driver's seat, a JBL audio system, ventilated seats, and climate control. However, some features, such as the ventilated seats, have to be controlled via the touchscreen, which can be a bit uncomfortable.
Battery Options, Range & Performance
This EV comes with two battery options: a 49kWh and a 61kWh LFP pack. The top model produces 174bhp and 189Nm of torque, making for a fast and enjoyable driving experience. In Sport mode, it feels like one of Toyota's fastest cars. The 61kWh battery offers a range of over 400km, depending on driving style. It's easy to drive in the city, and the high ground clearance helps even over large speed breakers.
Missing Features – Powered Tailgate, Dual-Zone Climate & V2L
The Ebella does have some shortcomings. Its boot space is smaller than its competitors, and it lacks a frunk. Rear seat headroom and width are a bit limited. Additionally, features like a powered tailgate, dual-zone climate control, and V2L may be lacking.
