Audi India is gearing up to launch its new offering, the Audi Q8 facelift, in India today. The Q8, which debuted globally last September, will continue to be the brand's flagship SUV option in our market. The model is based on Volkswagen's MLB Evo platform, similar to the Audi Q8 e-tron, and is an improved version of the Audi Q8, which arrived in India in 2020. As for exterior paint jobs, the luxury carmaker will offer eight attractive options: Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Grey, Glacier White, Satellite Silver, Tamarind Brown, and Vicuna Beige. Ahead of its official launch, Audi India has already opened the order books for the 2024 Q8 facelift.

The biggest change in the Audi Q8 facelift are the new headlights, which are now HD Matrix LED units with laser-assist for the high beam. It also gets a configurable light signature. There are subtle upgrades to the grille with new octagonal apertures and 'L'-shaped inserts, and the air intakes in the bumper have been reshaped as well. The rear is also similar to its predecessor, but new digital OLED rear lights have four selectable light designs that work in conjunction with the headlights.
The interiors are almost identical to the outgoing car, with changes limited to different stitching on the upholstery and a new interior colour scheme. It will continue to offer Audi's twin MMI touchscreens; four-zone climate control; head-up display; heated, ventilated and massaging seats; and the Bang & Olufsen Hi-Fi system. Apart from this, the Q8 facelift has an expanded app store and comes with built-in third-party music apps like Spotify and Amazon Music. The driver assistance system has also been improved.

Before the launch, the company had released a teaser of the facelift version of the SUV on social media. The 15-second video teaser gave information about features like its front grille, LED lights, side profile, rear lights, air vents, rear bumper and exhaust, connected LED lights. Apart from this, features like heated seats, head-up display, four zone climate control will also be provided in it.
Audi Q8 facelift Powerful engine will be available
According to Audi, only cosmetic changes will be made in the SUV. Like the current version, the facelift version will be given a three-liter V6 TFSI engine. It will also have a 48V mild hybrid system. It will be mated to an 8-speed gearbox. This engine will give the SUV 340 horsepower and 500 Newton meters of torque. The SUV can be driven from 0-100 kmph in just 5.6 seconds and its top speed will be 250 kmph.

Audi Q8 facelift Price
The ex-showroom price of the current Audi Q8 ranges from Rs 1.07 crore to Rs 1.43 crore. It is expected that the ex-showroom price of the facelift version will be slightly higher than the current version. In the market, it will compete directly with powerful cars like Mercedes Benz GLE and BMW X5. This happens with SUVs.
