Asia Cup 2023 Schedule Announced : India Vs Pakistan Match To be Held On Sept. 2

Asia Cup 2023

After a tussle for months between the Indian and Pakistan cricket boards, the official schedule of the Asia Cup was finally released on Wednesday. Pakistan retained the hosting rights but will stage only four of the 13 matches in this biennial competition. Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal are the other teams in the field for this ODI competition.

The tournament to be played in a hybrid model could see two, possibly three, India-Pakistan face-offs, all to be played in Sri Lanka.

The expensive India-Pakistan cooperative conflict will occur in Kandy on September 2 and the normal re-match in the Very 4 phase is planned for September 10 in Colombo.

The business progress of the opposition relies on the India-Pakistan confrontation with an organization tailor-made for them to conflict something like two times; both are set in a similar gathering with the Partner side (Nepal qualified).

PCB Pushing The Competition To Play In Hybrid Model

PCB pushed for the competition to be played in a half-breed model, rescuing four matches from being moved out of the country. Whether this is a success of any kind for PCB is being addressed in Pakistan cricket circles. From the time BCCI made it clear last October that it wouldn’t play in Pakistan, PCB has seen three shifts in power, supporting a marginally unique deal from the other.

India-Pakistan grinding has overwhelmed the Asia Cup history. Of the 15 versions held since it started in 1984, the competition has been played in India and Pakistan just once each.
