After the craze of Shark Tank booming in the Indian market, it’s not possible that anyone doesn’t know Ashneer Grover. He is the managing director (MD) and co-founder of the Indian fintech company BharatPe.
I hope you remember, his dialogue “Doglapan” was on a trend once. But what you don’t know is that businessman has written a whole book on this title.
Yeah! That’s right. His book’s name is Doglapan: The Hard Truth about Life and Start-Ups. In the book, Ashneer explained some events of his life where learned lessons about life.
Apart from it, the book also contains a chapter where Ashneer talked about how Bollywood actress Kiara Advani almost got him divorced.

Ashneer Grover Had a Serious Fight With His Wife Over Kiara Advani
In his book, Ashneer Grover mentioned the chapter titled When Kiara Advani Almost Got Me Divorced.

The businessman wrote in the chapter that he and his wife Madhuri were having a casual conversation with a friend. During this, when Ashneer asked him if he was getting married soon. The friend replied “Kisi movie star se baat chal rahi hai.”
After that, Ashneer Grover asked him who is she. So, the friend said Kiara Advani. Trying to joke, Ashneer told his mother “Aap ko pata nahi hai market mein aaj kal kya chal raha hai. Aaj ke din shaadi ho rahi hoti na toh Kiara Advani ka rishta aata aapke bete ke liye.”
But the joke went wrong, his Madhuri didn’t take it as a joke. Her expression and body language changed suddenly.

Continuing the story, Ashneer wrote in the book “We were to travel to Mumbai for the shoot that night. On the aircraft, Madhuri sat tightlipped and wouldn’t speak to me, until they served food and I nagged her to eat it.”
“It was as if a sudden dam had burst. ‘Tumhe Kiara Advani se shaadi karni hai (You want to marry Kiara Advani)?’ she raged, beginning to take off her jewellery.”
“Through this tirade I sat with my hands held out, holding her jewellery, which she had unceremoniously dumped on me.”
“From the corner of my eye, I could see an old gentleman who had his headphones on to watch a Netflix movie take them off to listen in on the live movie playing out on the aircraft.”
