APPSC's latest announcement is especially important for those who hope to get hired into the Government of India's Andhra Pradesh State Government. It has released an official schedule detailing 21 separate recruitment exams to be held by APPSC during the year 2026,
which will be Part I and Part II of the examinations performed in the offline OMR (Optical Mark Reader) based format. The complete timetable for these recruitments has also been posted on their website.

Agricultural, Civil, Horticultural, Forestry, Fisheries, Jail, Endowment and Welfare Department will take place between January 27th to January 31st of the year 2026 and also between February 9th till 13th of the year 2026.
This is a significant initiative by the APPSC as it enables candidates to have access to the list of upcoming vacancies in advance thus allowing them an opportunity for proper planning and preparation in advance for the examination.

APPSC: Examinations in two main phases
Phase 1: 27th January, 2026 to 31st January, 2026
Examinations will be held in both FN (Forenoon) and AN (Afternoon) sessions.
Phase 2: 9th February , 2026 to 13th February, 2026
This phase is primarily reserved for examinations related to Forest, Executive Officer, and Law and Security departments.
This two-phase system will prevent exam dates from clashing and allow candidates to easily appear for more than one post.
Big Relief for Multi-Notification Candidates

This time, APPSC has arranged for a common paper for candidates applying for more than one notification.
This will save candidates from having to take the same GS and MA paper repeatedly.
Common Paper Arrangement:
- From 1st to 14th Notifications: Will have Common GS & MA
- From 15th and 16th Notifications: Will have Common GS & MA
- From 18th and 19th Notifications: Will have Common GS & MA + Qualifying Test
This has eliminated overlapping exams and will make it easier for candidates to prepare.
Examination Centres according to District-wise
To streamline logistics, APPSC has distributed the centers as follows:
Centres for 18 Notifications (1st to 17th and 21st):
- NTR
- Tirupati
- Anantapuram
- Visakhapatnam
- East Godavari
Wider Centres for Notifications 18th to 20th: All 13 old districts of Andhra Pradesh
This provides candidates with the convenience of taking the exam in a city near them. Candidates must verify their Hall Ticket for the proper centre.
