Amrish Puri’s Grandson Vardhan Puri Talks About Dark Side Of Bollywood

Vardhan Puri, the grandson of late Amrish Puri, recently disclosed some disturbing facts concerning the film industry in an interview. He revealed that many people in the industry took advantage of him, asking for sexual favors in return for work. He mentioned that some would tell him they could get him connected to X, Y, Z, however they would later prove to have no connection with the industry, just looking to make a fast buck.

In April 2022, Vivek Agnihotri had announced that he was no longer connected with Nautanki, which was his first project after the pandemic. When questioned about this, Vardhan Puri expressed that things are now in order and Agnihotri is pleased with the final product. He was not willing to divulge much but mentioned that it is a 'old story'.

He revealed that he had shot the movie during the first lockdown to aid his friend Anupam Kher, and even helped with the first cut as a friendly gesture, but had no knowledge about the final product. When asked about the development, Puri revealed that things are on track and that "everything is great now and he (Agnihotri) is very proud of the film".
