The grand event of Met Gala 2023 took place on 1st May at the Museum of Art in New York. The theme of this year is “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.” It is in the name of a German Fashion Designer who died in 2019.

This year, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt walks the Met Gala red carpet from the side of India. At the event, the actress was seen in a pristine white gown embellished with sparkling pearls. Besides, she kept her hair simple and straight, which is the best part. In the end, Alia finished her look with stylish white earrings and minimal makeup.

After the Met Gala 2023 event, Alia Bhatt shared her beautiful pics on Instagram and expressed her experience in the caption. She wrote, “I have always been fascinated by the iconic Chanel brides. Season after season, the genius of Karl Lagerfeld shone through in the most innovative and awe-inspiring couture. My look tonight was inspired by this and in particular by supermodel Claudia Schiffer’s 1992 Chanel bridal look.”

“I wanted to do something that felt authentic (hello, pearls!) and proudly made in India. The embroidery, made with 100,000 pearls is a labour of love by @prabalgurung. I’m so proud to wear you for my first Met.”

“A girl can never have too many pearls and the right accessories to complement the look which in our case translated to the bow of pearls on my hair. Oh, and it’s white, for my Choup-ED.”
