Akshay’s bond with her mother was very strong and the mother-son duo has proved this many times.

During an interview with NDTV, her mother broke down while expressing her bond with Akshay. He was even more than a son for her.

Mourning the death of her mother Aruna Bhatia, Akshay penned a note on Instagram saying “My maa peacefully reunited with my dad.” She was severely ill and was admitted to ICU a week ago.

Akshay Kumar’s mother was admitted after her health degraded last week. She was hospitalized in the Hiranandani Hospital where she passed away. Jacqueline, Manish Malhotra, and others from the Bollywood industry have paid their sincere condolences after hearing the sad news.
