Breaking News: Military Chopper Carrying CDS General Bipin Rawat Crashes

A helicopter carrying Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat, his staff, and a few members of his family crashed near Ooty in Tamil Nadu. As per the reports by ANI, the chopper crashes between Coimbatore and Sulur region.

Two more senior defense officials were also in the chopper that caught fire and was completely destroyed on the ground.

Search and rescue operation is under process whereby only 3 members are rescued till now.
