ASUS is a Taiwan-based company, which launched the gaming smartphone ROG Phone 6 series last year. The ROG Phone 6 series included two phones, The ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro. These devices come with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC chipset.
The ROG Phone 6D series was launched with MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC chipset. It has been a few months since the flagship ROG Phone was launched and now the company has already started working on the ROG Phone 7 series.

As per the report, the Asus ROG Phone 7 series is set to be launched in August 2023. The company has not confirmed any details about the launch.
ROG Phone 7 series is expected to come in three variants, ROG Phone 7, ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, ROG Phone 7D, and it could feature Qualcomm’s latest SoC.

According to the report, ROG Phone 7 series Model numbers are:-
- ROG Phone 7 – AI2205_A or (AI2205_C) in Indian
- ROG Phone 7 Ultimate – AI2205_E
- ROG Phone 7D – AI2205_D

Expected Specifications
- The ROG Phone 7 series will come with Android 13,
- The phones will also feature an AMOLED display with at least 165Hz for better gaming experience.
- The ROG Phone 7 series will be equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
- The Asus ROG Phone 7 will offer 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. On the other hand, The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate will have 512GB of internal storage,
- The phones will be featured with some form of cooling mechanism to keep the thermals in check.
- It will have a 6000 mAh massive battery with 65W fast charging support.
