Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was born into a wealthy Bengali origin family in Orissa during British rule. He was born on 23 January 1897. His birthday is also celebrated by the title “Parakram Divas” in honor of his contribution to our country’s freedom.
Netaji was a brilliant student and also 4th rank in the Indian Civil Services exam in 1919. He later resigned from the post. The motives of our leader were very rigid and he never gave up despite not getting as much support as Gandhi was getting.
Netaji’s Famous Slogan “Jai Hind”
Bose was renowned for his sheer will, and courage; he stood up with a different agenda of fighting with violence. At that time, Gandhi was fighting for independence with non-violence. However, Netaji knew that this fight would be far from over if they didn’t fight. Netaji formed Indian National Army (INA) that consisted of people with similar agendas like Bose. They fought for freedom until their last breaths.
Subhash Chandra Bose gave a voluntary slogan “Jai Hind” that was to represent the love and dedication he and his allies had for supporting their country. He also gave a few more famous slogans like “Tum Mujhe Khoon Do Mein Tumhre Azaad Dunga”.
Netaji’s Death Mystery
Bose died on 18 August 1945 for unknown reasons. However, it’s still a mystery, and various factors represent the cause of his death was not ethical. According to Wikipedia, Netaji was traveling somewhere in Japan as someone’s guest when the plane crashed near Taihoku, Japanese-occupied Formosa, now Taipei, Taiwan. The pilot and copilot died instantly after the crash, but Bose somehow survived for a while.
Bose was swiftly brought to medical attention, but he got third-degree burns that later caused his death. However, his supporters in India, “mostly Bengali’s” refused to the cause of his death and have asked for an inspection of the conspiracy.
