In terms of performance, the e-Vitara will be offered with two LFP battery options, which will be supplied by BYD. With a smaller 48.8 kWh and a larger 61.1 kWh battery, this car caters to different user needs.
The larger battery promises a range of over 500 kilometers on a single charge. With fast charging, the battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in just 50 minutes.
Launch Date and Expected Pricing
The Maruti e-Vitara will be launched as a compact electric SUV in the market. It will compete directly with electric SUVs like the Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, and Mahindra BE.6. Its launch in India will take place in January 2026, and the price is expected to be between ₹18 and ₹25 lakh.

The Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara will go on sale in India in January 2026. It will also be launched in Japan at the same time. Bookings will open soon, but the company has not yet announced the date. This electric SUV will also come with a battery-as-a-service (BaaS) model. In this model, customers can purchase the car without the battery and rent the battery.
