2026 MG Majester India Launch on February 12: Price, Features, Design & Rivals

MG Motor India is set to add a new and larger name to its SUV portfolio. The company will launch the 2026 MG Majester in India on February 12th. This will be MG's new flagship SUV, positioned above the MG Gloster. Interestingly, both the Majester and Gloster could be sold together. The Majester is expected to feature three-row seating, a powertrain setup similar to the Gloster, and a complementary package of features. Design with a Powerful Road Presence

The MG Majester was last seen at Auto Expo 2025, and since then, several spy images have also surfaced. Based on these glimpses, several key aspects of its exterior design have emerged.

The Majester's front design looks quite straightforward and robust. It features a wide gloss-black grille, vertically stacked LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs at the top, and prominent skid plates with vertical detailing on the front bumper.

From the side, the Majester's stance also appears large and muscular. It features 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, thick black body cladding at the bottom, blacked-out door handles, roof rails, and contrasting window pillars.

At the rear, the Majester features horizontal LED taillamps connected by a light bar. The rear bumper has a similar touch to the front, with a silver-finish skid plate, and dual exhaust outlets are clearly visible. Overall, in terms of design, the Majester is styled with a fresh and more high-end SUV appeal.

According to spy shots, the MGMajester's cabin could be more premium and tech-oriented than the Gloster. The Majester is expected to feature a layered dashboard design. It will also have a dual digital screen setup (one for infotainment and one for the driver display).
