As per the latest technology news, it was seen that YouTube was overlooking the loopholes that allow Paedophile to abuse the platform to the network through comments on inoffensive videos, some of the top brands are reportedly withdrawing from advertising on the Google-owned platform.
As per the latest technology updates, major companies including Nestle, Epic, Disney and McDonald’s declared that they have put on hold their advertising on YouTube. These companies have called on the company to solve the issue.
At the end of last week, Redditor Matt Watson told that YouTube’s recommendation algorithm redirected to inappropriate videos, which features women, and in some instances, shameless and illegal clips of children.
Some videos also include inappropriate comments by Paedophiles with timestamps, which give children an indication of compromising positions in videos.
YouTube has emphasized that it has reported abusive comments to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The company, including more experts, is taking further steps against child exploitation to remove inappropriate content.
