YouTube: Atif Aslam’s Song From Marjawaan Pulled Down By T-Series

Atif Aslam

Atif Aslam’s version of Kinna Sona song from the movie Marjawaan was pulled down by T-Series Youtube channel. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) raised an objection.

T-Series, a music and production house on Wednesday pulled down Pakistani singer Atif Aslam’s version song of Kinna Sona from YouTube.

T-Series released the song on Sunday which was from Marjawaan movie that was released last year featuring Siddharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria.

MNS Chitrapat Sena president Ameya Khopkar warmed the production to take “serious action” against T-Series if the video was not removed.

In a letter addressed to MNS chief Raj Thackeray, T-Series said that the track was uploaded as an error on their YouTube channel.

The letter read:

“The said song, sung by Atif Aslam, was put out on the YouTube channel of T-Series by one of our employees. He was unaware of his actions, which led to the mistake. We deeply regret this and apologise for the same.

“We assure you that the song won’t release on our platform and we won’t promote it either. We are taking down the song and reassure you that we won’t be assisting any Pakistani singers,”

After the tragic Pulwama attack last year the MNS had asked to stop working with Pakistani actors and singers. After the release of URI, Pakistani actors faced serious ban in the Bollywood industry.
