Recently, Yamaha has updated the Yamaha MT-03 and Yamaha R3 in the global market. Both these bikes have been equipped with many great features along with getting a new design. Both these bikes will be launched in India in the year 2025. Let us know what changes Yamaha has made to make both these bikes more attractive than before.
Yamaha MT-03
- Like the Yamaha R3, the MT-03 has also been given a new design. It has an LED headlight in the middle, with LED DRLs on both sides. They look very attractive from the front.
- They give the bike a better look than before. The MT-03 has the same LCD instrument cluster as the 2025 R3.
- Not only this, the features found in it are also similar to the features given in the R3.
- No changes have been made to its engine as well. It has a 321cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. Its engine generates 42 PS of power and 29.5Nm of peak torque.
- Along with this, the engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip-and-assist clutch.
Yamaha R3
- The 2025 Yamaha R3 is more attractive than before and also has a great look. It has a completely new front end, which matches its new design.
- It has been seen earlier in the R9. It has a single LED projector headlight in the middle and twin LED DRLs on both sides, which further enhance its sporty look.
- Integrated winglets have also been provided in the front fascia of Yamaha R3, which the company claims will increase the downforce generated by the bike.
- Compared to earlier, the company has reduced the width of its seat and side panel. This will make it easier for the driver to put his feet down. It has a new LCD instrument console, in which you can enjoy smartphone connectivity feature through Yamaha’s MyRide app.
- Information like call / SMS alert, text and email notification display will be available on this screen. On the other hand, if we talk about mechanical changes in it, then it has the same old 321cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, which generates 42 PS of power at 10,750 rpm and 29.5 Nm of peak torque at 9,500 rpm.
- Its engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip-and-assist clutch.
When will it be launched and what will be the price
At present, the ex-showroom price of Yamaha MT-03 available in the Indian market is Rs 4,59,900 and the ex-showroom price of Yamaha R3 is Rs 4,64,900. When both these bikes are updated, it is clear that they will be slightly more expensive than the current model. The 2025 model of these bikes can be launched in India in mid-2025. In India, both these bikes will compete with bikes like Aprilia RS 457, KTM 390 Duke and the upcoming Aprilia Tuono 457.
