Why HyperOS should have its own identity

Xiaomi HyperOS

MIUI 14, in its later stages, looked like a bizarre version of Apple’s iOS that had no identity of its own left. There was a time when MIUI was so unique that people used to install and use it on their phones, just to experience it. It had a distinct style that I and many others loved. But for some reason, the UI slowly evolved like this.

HyperOS was intended to address this, although it strengthened it with a customizable lock screen UI: I know creating something unique is easier said than done, but I would like the operating system to regain its old glory. Or at least not stick to iOS so much and try new things and experiments.
